Aha, hooooooray.........
Finally the rain has come to Miri (or at least where we are staying). It feels darn good to have rain showering the earth. Even though this means that all of our clothes will take another 2 days to dry. Nevertheless, no complains.
I nearly choked this mornign when I went out because the haze finally reached Luak Bay and the air was unbreathable. Thank God for the rain as it has cleared things up. HOwever, the problem still lies in the open burning everywhere even in Miri and we need to just stop blaming our neighbours Indonesia all the time. People/the farmers and the poor peasants who slash and burn need to be educated further.
